AAIDD Virtual Screening & Discussion

June 24, 2020 by Jennifer Tennican

We had a terrific Hearts of Glass virtual event co-sponsored by the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD) and the Rural Institute for Inclusive Communities (RIIC) at the University of Montana. Close to 300 people joined us for a panel discussion hosted by the AAIDD on Zoom. Attendees had access to stream the film several days before and several days after the panel discussion.

Food For Thought: UC Davis Screening & Discussion

March 5, 2020 by Jennifer Tennican

We were honored to be awarded a grant to present Hearts of Glass and hold a panel discussion as part of UC Davis’ Global Campus Global Theme — Food for Thought: Feeding Ourselves, Feeding the Planet. This turned out to be our last live event before the pandemic hit.
We enjoyed the opportunity to discuss the intersections of food production, disability inclusion and a social impact business. Thanks to our sponsors the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science and the UC Davis School of Education – Teacher Education.
